The UP Express Tradeoff

The UP Express train covers Union Station to Pearson Terminal 1 in about 25 minutes, which sounds hard to beat — but that's station-to-station, not door-to-door. If you're not already near Union, or you land with luggage and still need a taxi or rideshare for the last leg at either end, the transfers can eat into the time you saved. A booked chauffeur skips all of that: pickup at your actual door, drop-off at the terminal curb, one trip instead of two or three.

Not necessarily — our flat rate is agreed before you travel, so there's no meter risk from traffic, which can make a taxi cost more unpredictably on a bad-traffic day.

Is the UP Express faster than a booked chauffeur?

For the Union Station to Terminal 1 leg alone, often yes — about 25 minutes. But that's station-to-station, not door-to-door, so once you add getting to Union and any transfer at the airport end, a direct chauffeur pickup can work out just as fast with far less hassle, especially with luggage.

Can I book one chauffeur for a group leaving from different parts of Toronto?
